The Selangor FC Futsal squad or formerly known as Selangor MAC opened the Malaysian Premier Futsal League (MPFL) Division 1 2024 competition on 18 February at the Shah Alam Panasonic National Sports Complex.

This season the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) has announced a new format for the MPFL 2024. This tournament has been divided into two divisions namely Division 1 and Division 2. Ten teams from last season compete in Division 1 and have been divided into two groups, namely Group A (Pahang Rangers, Pulau Pinang, Terengganu and Sabah) and Group B (Selangor FC, Johor DT, Selangor TOT United and Shah Alam City).

These teams will compete in two rounds (home and away), completing 18 matches. This season, the 2024 MPFL title will be chosen by the team's point total, with no knockout stages.

This season, clubs are permitted to register a maximum of two import players that are over the age of 18 and have played in official Futsal Leagues. In addition, each squad shall register at least two players who are 19 years or younger.

On January 29th, Yoodo officially announced that they will sponsor the Selangor Futsal squad this season. The team retained last season's head coach, Edgar Eder Baldasso to lead the team in the hunt for the championship in the 2024 season. He will be assisted by two assistant coaches namely Ahmad Khairi and Shao Yao Eoh. While the goalkeeper coach, Firdaus Razali and fitness coach, Luqman Mat.
